In 2019, I curated and produced my first art exhibition, titled “City of Truth”. The show featured a few of my own abstract oil paintings as well as works by other contemporary artists: multi-media works by celebrity photographer, Jeremy Cowart, and large format photographs by award winning photo journalist, Philip Holsinger.
Using an unfinished retail space in the heart of downtown Nashville, the show explored the lines between creative disciplines and public engagement. I have always feel called to storytelling and to amplifying diverse voices, not only through media and advocacy but also through visual arts.
